DELAWARE VALLEY ART LEAGUE HOLIDAY FINE ART SALE

Opening Reception:

Friday November 3, 2023 – Cocktail Party 4pm to 7pm
 

Open to the Public – Meet the Artists:

Saturday November 4, 2023 -11am to 4pm

Sunday November 5, 2023 - 12pm to 4pm

 

Terms:

• All artwork must be original - Prints will not be accepted.

• * This is a non-juried show and open to the first 42 full members to register and pay. A link to the artwork submissions form will be sent via email to all the registered artists. Please make sure you include a valid email on the registration form below.

• ​Artists are required to volunteer their time during the sale. Sign-up slots are available when you submit your artwork via the online artwork submission form (a link to the form will be sent to you via email once you have registered and paid).

Entry Fees:  Paid online thru the online registration form below.

$ 45.00 - Framed work:

• Two 36x72” panels will be provided.

• DVAL labels must be attached to the upper left corner of each painting.

• Exhibition labels will be provided by the Committee based on your online artwork submission form.

$ 10.00 - Portfolio work:

• Artists must provide their own professional portfolio rack with their name attached.

• Each piece must be properly protected in clear plastic with a DVAL label (you provide)

on the back.

• No size or number restrictions, however, all work must fit in the rack not on floor.

 

IMPORTANT DATES and INFORMATION:

Registration: September 11, 2023 through October 9, 2023.

Delivery:  November 2, 2023 Bring art to the Newtown Square Presbyterian Church on Thursday, November 2 between 10am to 1pm and 3 to 5pm (please specify time on registration form below). Each artist will be responsible for hanging their own work. Name banners will be provided as well as hooks for hanging.

Biographies:  Artists are asked to submit biographies for the art sale binder. Please email them to Trisha Flaherty (trishaflaherty8@gmail) by October 2, 2023.
 

Commissions:  There are no commissions on sold work.
 

Sales: Buyer will pay the DVAL volunteers. Checks will be sent from the DVAL Treasurer after the sale.
 

Sales Tax: Collected from buyer at the time of sale.
 

Liability:  Neither Newtown Square Presbyterian Church or DVAL are responsible for any loss or damage.
 

Prizes:  This is an art sale, not an exhibition, therefore no prizes will be awarded.
 

Pick up Unsold Work:  November 5, 2023 @ 4 to 5pm
 

Volunteers:  In order to participate, artists are required to volunteer their time during the sale.
