At the March DVAL membership meeting the new Board of Directors for 2022-2023 was unanimously voted on in person.  We also acknowledge those that voted via the website so we could reach the quorum necessary in accordance to our ByLaws and Constitution.

The nominating committee chair was Jeanne Gunther, in the absence of a Vice President.  We wish to acknowledge the time and work that was volunteered to make this transition possible.  We congratulate Sara Hamilton who was elected to be the DVAL President for the coming term, and welcome all the officers and directors who comprise the Board.

At this time we would like to acknowledge our President, George Gallatig for his tireless efforts during these past few years.  This was a difficult time with COVID,  our transition to the venue at St. David’s Church, finding new venues to exhibit, and conducting the Zoom meetings when we could not meet in person.

We have survived a time in DVAL history that has never happened before. DVAL is strong, gaining new membership and finding new opportunities for our artists.  We thank George along with all of the board members that have served this year and continue to do so.  The new Board of Directors will be presented formally at the Luncheon in May.
